Since October 2009, Trattoria Aroma, led by Stefano and Stefania Giovannini, has been welcoming guests as one of the leading Italian restaurants in Basel. With passion and dedication, we have built our restaurant, offering authentic Italian and Roman cuisine for nearly 15 years. What started as a family-run business has grown into a place where we serve fresh, high-quality dishes to our guests every day.

In 2018, we moved to our new location Auf der Lyss, which offers spacious rooms, making it ideal for banquets and events. Our boulevard area and charming garden are particularly popular, providing a perfect setting to relax and enjoy. Here, you can experience the flavors of Rome in a calming atmosphere.
